Back to original topic, will some rain and sun and time tighten it up? You know "shrinkage factor" as George would say.

I wonder if we were to send that guy a picture of the sag and ask him to take it up a bit. He seemed to be willing to work with the pattern based on his descriptions on the listings

I think if it got wet and dried a few times it would tighten up a lot.
Also, the doors didn't need to be sewn to the door frames, they had sewn in velcro straps to attach to the frame.

Do you sew in the velcro straps or do you mean they were already sewn in and you velcro them to the rods? Do you have any other closeup pics? Thanks

Even the trail run top I bought from Beachwood had to shrink to fit the best, so spray it down to begin the shrink, several times

The doors had fold over straps with velcro already sewn to them. I posted a picture below. All of the edges folded over with velcro around the door frame.

How did the grommets for the top of the windshield frame front area look like on yours? I ordered one a couple months ago before he increased price over 400. Dark brown canvas, otherwise same as yours, same seller. The grommets were cheapy brass round ones and the holes were misaligned and off by 3 inches, unusable, so it is now at an upholstery place getting that section replaced. The seller was nice enough to send me material for the repair at no charge. I will measure and install the correct turn fastener grommets once I get it back. Still...not a bad deal for 349 bucks and free shipping.

The top I ordered went on a CJ3B, the front of it goes in a track on the windshield.

A friend of mine bought one of these and he liked it. Especially considering how cheap they are.

Can you get the cross bows like on the mb’s for the 2a or just the straight bows?

You can get the MB style top bows, but I don't believe it will fit the cj2a style canvas

I'm considering this same top & bows for my 46 CJ-2A. How well did the top end up fitting? do you have good pictures?
