I have to disagree. That doesn't look like a CJ2A part.

to many jeeps, parts, and accessories to list here, but apparently enough to keep me in trouble with my wife.

Don't know what that is.

The pivot bracket for a CJ2A is very similar to the one pictured below.

If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!

The rear seat , probably MB or GPW, has a pipe/tube underneath for mounting, I was wondering if these were the mounts for the pipe to pivot and fold.

Good guess, but that isn't it.

The MB and GPW had a pivot bracket like pictured below. The design allowed for easy removal of the rear seat.

Just A WAG, not even a SWAG, pivots for a pickup tail gate?

It would help if we had any idea as to how large these are. Could you take a picture with some thing of standard size. Try a coin, a dollar bill, or best, a ruler. What size are the bolts shown? That may help.

SeeJayTwo, could those be the pivots/mounts that bolt to the fenderwells, for the rear seat to mount to?

Perhaps homemade?

See if they fit into the open ends of the seat frame you have.

I was thinking that a few posts back. That is what they are. Home made rear set mounts. Thank you to all who helped with ideas. I will sandblast, paint and include with sale of seat.
