The Great Willys Picnic, Show and Swap Meet Sunday June 11, 2023 from 9 am - 4 pm at the Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern Railroad located in Kempton, Pennsylvania It's time to plan for the 23rd annual Great Willys Picnic, Car Show and Swap Meet, the largest Willys event in the Northeast. All vehicles are welcome: stock, modified, projects, CJs, Wagons, Trucks, Jeepsters, Military, Cars and even GPWs! Pre-1970 Willys vehicles are eligible to win door prizes and great Raffles are available for everyone. The Jeep Field is open for showing all more modern Jeeps. There is plenty of space for selling your spare parts in the swap meet area. Bring your Willys memorabilia and interesting parts for show and tell. Be sure to arrive early to have enough time to see all the Jeeps before the door prize winners and raffles are announced at 3:00 PM. Bring your own picnic lunch or purchase food at the refreshment stand. This event goes on Rain or Shine. The Picnic will be held on the grounds of the Wanamaker, Kempton Southern Railroad http://www.kemptontrain.com located in the scenic village of Kempton, Pennsylvania. This is a great setting to display our classic Willys vehicles, as well as entertainment for the entire family. Also on-site is the Schuykill & Lehigh Model Railroad Club's HO model train display. As always the Willys Picnic, Show and Swap is free. Plan to take the optional train ride for a very reasonable fee. Click here for directions to the RR http://www.kemptontrain.com/directions/ See the website for any updates http://www.cj3a.info/picnic Check out The Willys Picnic on Facebook. We will be there with our 3A and some parts for sale. I think we are camping at Blue Rocks so we will look like the Beverly Hillbillys with the truck, truck camper, trailer, 3A and parts!

Any recommendation on places to stay with trailer parking? I'm thinking B&B or AirBnB. I usually camp at BlueRock but might be looking for something a little bit more comfortable this time around.
Also, for those bringing parts, I'll be looking for wheels for my m38 amongst other things :) @3-48s: Nice Chairs!!! |

Looking for a decent rear seat for a Cj2a and the pieces to attach it to the bed. Looking for one that has the full backrest on it. I do not want to spend an arm and a leg on it either.

New member here and also first timer going to the picnic in Kempton tomorrow…
What is the best way to enter if towing a trailer? In google maps aerial view, it looks like a bridge is out through town, but perhaps that’s outdated info. I assume there will be plenty of direction where to go, but wanted to ask ahead of time so I don’t hold anyone up tomorrow AM or end up in the wrong spot. Thanks, Ryan |

Thanks so much to the organizer's of this wonderful event once again! The sun came out, the unicorns went buy & we all got to forget about everything but WILLYS for a day. Thanks to Seth, Heather & "The Windy Hill Gang" for another great day! Thanks to Bob W. for his contribution to the event. They had a great turn out this year & I got to see many old and new friends that are truly a treasure to me. I was fortunate enough to visit with Carl Walck and wish him well in his retirement. Old Glen B. from Maine was in attendance & it is always a pleasure to visit with that gent as well as all the WILLYS folks that converge on Kempton. God bless & I hope to see you all next year!
