It's been about 20 years since this sort of dump occurred here.
Still snowing with a winter storm warning out until this evening. To complicate matters, the hydraulic motor on the Bobcat snowblower impeller puked yesterday. Need to do some shoveling and extract my snow bucket. I may see if I can get a chain on it and pull it over to the mostly cleared road.

The worst forest fire to hit Montana (great fire of 1910) occurred after a record snow year. A huge drought followed that summer and there were ample fuels due to the snow melt fueled spring blush.
However, most of that fire was caused by coal fired locomotives which sent embers into the parched forest in scores of locations.

We got just a dusting in the Black Hills. It's been a long cold winter here. That kind of snow will be around until June unless it turns to 105 degrees all at once and that means floods. Feel for you Duffer. Oilly
