Robert,

Where did you pick up those U Clips with the pin you use to hold your sheet metal together with, I was truly inspired by your work. I was truly impressed by you tub repair pictures.

I am in the process of repairing my GPW tub and those U Clamps and some hat channels would come in handy.

I looking for these.

I will give you some time to catch up on you hat channels, I will take a set once you make more..

Do the hat channels you make have holes predrilled?

Hi Dez, no, no holes, just the separate pieces , you need to trim the ends to fit and weld them together.

thanks Mike,
Steve, look at Mikes website, he has the best pics of the install. Think he just laid them over his old ones and tacked them togetther.   Mine I scribed with an awl on what I had left of the floor and used that to mock them up. check out my website under hatchannels. screwed them to the floor and made sure everything lined up to the frame before final welding.   These are nice cause if your frame or tub is not as straight as they used to be you can adjust to fit.

thanks all, I'll get these done as soon as I can

Bob
