Just plain old Valvoline 30W. Been that way for years. 10 lbs at idle and 60 revved up.

I run John Deere 15-40 Plus 50 II in my 48. Same as my 2 tractors and 2000 7.3 Powerstroke. Not saying its any better, just easier to run the same oil in everything.
