Got 8 members on the NTFF Facebook page!  I am certainly looking forward to getting some of us together.  I will do my best to remember to post a get together on here as well for non Facebook users.  Rick, I hit up Bridgeport with some regularity.  Fun park to let my youngest practice his driving skills at.  I didn't find out you were going to go there til a week or after you'd been.  Sorry I missed you.  Maybe next time!

David, no, I’m not attending the Jamboree in October.  I was a member of the jeep club that hosts that Jamboree every year.  They also hold an event there called the “Jeep Challenge” every September, but I usually miss that because of the Colorado FCT.  I’ve wheeled in the Palo Duro a few times (I have a couple of videos in my link).  The flatties that attend every year are guys from Minnesota, I think.  Their jeeps are very customized, built crawlers.

I’m a long ways from any of y’all, but I do make it down to the Denton/Aubrey area several times a year.  I’d love to meet up with anyone when the chance arises.  I also hauled my Willys down to the Northwest OHV park last year.  Would be interested in doing so again once it gets cooler.  Here’s a link to my thread about it.   It is a pretty fun park.

Check with your nearest O'Reilly's, they may have a loaner program, the store here in Midland does.

Anyone in North Texas have a brake drum puller they would let me borrow for about 5 minutes?  Was able to get one off with a dead blow hammer, but the other won't cooperate.

https://www.hiddenfallsadventurepark.com

Just east of Marble Falls.    Great place.  The guys go riding and the wives go antiquing in the Hill Country.  Get together for a nice dinner, then repeat on Sunday.  Perfect weekend...

I will check out the CJ Facebook page.  Good lead there.  I am doing a total rebuild but am getting close.  Pretty stock but I will use it.  The chassis and driveline are complete.  I started the engine a few weeks ago.  The body is still off but it is ready to go back on when I get time.  Then it is wiring, gauges, etc...

Hope to be done before Thanksgiving.

I also own a modified TJ Rubicon and recently bought a Gladiator as my daily driver, so into Jeeps deep.  If you are in Ennis, Hidden Falls is likely as close as Bridgeport...

I am in Ennis life long jeep owner. Not really into show I am more go. Very interested in joining flat fender club. Not into extreme 4x4 just like driving a jeep that was built in 1949 that can still go any where. Currently own 1949 cj2a. Always tinkering with.

Bridgeport is open.  Was out there in June with the North Texas CJ Jeeps Facebook group.  Has to purchase your pass online at the time, but you may be able to buy at the gate now.  I am always down for Bridgeport.  Not made it to Barnwell yet, but it is on the short list.

How many pieces you got left to get it running, David?
