I’m looking at a ‘46, wanted to know the problem areas in the frame. What should I look for?

Under the battery where acid drips on the frame and the front tube on the ends where it's welded to the frame rails will often break.

I have seen a lot of 2A frames rust out in this area:

Moisture gets trapped between the frame straps and the "C" channel. I see it quite often in the this area just in front of the rear wheels.

Look closely for cracks running vertically up through the frame just in front of the front spring rear hangers and rear spring front hangers.
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable
