    Posted: 25 Mar. 2023 at 10:55am
I am looking for a small top section of front bumper @ 7" long.
Preferably a portion of the top of a donor bumper that someone has.
The full top w/ 1" down after the 90deg. bend. This is to repair a notch in my front bumper. I realize a fab shop could also provide this, however I would prefer an original bumper piece to do the repair.

Thanks!

Frame rails after 1948 should basically be the same as a bumper.
Same gauge and bend radius.
In other words you could make a bumper from the straight section of the frame after you plug and re-drill proper holes.
I could supply that if you wanted but cannot get to it for about two weeks or so.

I have a bumper I am soon to remove from a 1948 frame. It is pretty bent, but probably has that much straight. I can cut a piece of it off before it goes on the scrap truck. Might be a while before I can get to it. I would just be cutting out a section, you would have to cut it to fit for your patch at 1" down.
If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!
