I recently put a Weber 32/36 on the 153 in my '47 2a. This led to a fuel pressure regulator and an an electric pump on a bypass to make the cold weather starts after it's been sitting easier.  I have one of those clear inline filters with the replaceable cartridge in line before the fuel pump. Now everything from that filter to the carb is 5/16" line, but the fuel line from the tank to the filter is only 1/4".  I notice an air bubble in the top of the filter which I don't recall before, and I'm wondering if that is due to the smaller diameter line from the tank?  Is there any issue with a smaller 1/4" line leading into the larger 5/16"?
Seems to run much better than it did with the monojet, but it is harder to start when cold.
