Here is a photo of my fuel tank grommet purchased less than 12 months ago from Walcks. Anyone else seeing poor service life from theirs?

Mines two years old plus and looks new Pretty sure I got it from Walcks as well. But then I only have 2500 miles on CHUG and it parks in a garage so not in the sun a lot.

No sun. Parked under tarp. The one that was removed was hard, but not cracked after at least ten years.

I bought one from QTM a couple years ago and it still looks new. Jeep sits in a barn during winter but spent most of the last two summers out in the open.

If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!

Yes, I had the same issue. Cheap rubber (maybe the same issue with the w/s cowl rubber seal too.
I also bought one from a military vendor (RFJP) in 2018. It feels different, doesn't shine (like plastic) and is very pliable. Still holding up.
