What material have folks used under a gas tank to separate the tank from the floor?  Appreciate any input.  Bob

I used the felt strips I got from KaiserWillys.

I go with the mud flaps only I cut them in about 2 inch wide strips and put 3 in. Tire tube is too thin and felt holds water and causes rust! JMO

I used squares cut out of a 1/4 inch rubber sheet I found on Amazon
- 1944 MB "Norm"
- 1960 CJ-3B
