Can someone help identify these governors I picked up at auction?  Thanks Jon
And tell me how to rotate an image!!!

Hi Jon,
As WeeWilly said you have some nice goodies there!

The governor at the center of the tail gate is a NOVI that its correct for late 47-53 CJ2As & 3As. If the pulley is alum. then it is correct for late 47-48. The later 2as & 3As had cast iron pulleys. It is missing the mounting bracket & the dash T-handle, however it looks pretty complete & the throttle link is there. The links can be hard to find at times. If the long upper arm had an inboard offset then I understand that NOVI would be for an Empire Tractor, but yours is straight so it is for a CJA/3A.
It appears that the other two governors are fixed base or they are for welders or generators.


If I can be of any help with more info please PM me your questions. I do not claim to be an expert but I have seen plenty of these governors thru the years.

Thank you for the reply. Very informative. I found a data tag on two of them and they are pierce governors. Any thoughts on those. Thanks Jon
