Interesting intake manifold. Americar or MA or what?

It could be for a stationary engine, or a welder. They had those in WWII. Yet, I do not see any indication of a governor on this engine.

I have the same intake on my jeep. I think it's an Americar intake. People say the generator intake has a smaller diameter at the carburetor and they won't perform as good as a jeep intake. All I know is my jeep will drive 55 mph easily with the intake I have, so it must be an Americar.

Also, the generator manifolds have bracketry cast into them for governors and such.
