    Posted: 30 Dec. 2017 at 8:38am
I put together a little compilation video of some of the more memorable clips from my jeeping this year.
It was a great year for me and Grampa's Jeep in spite of the fact that we had a little hiccup along the way this summer when i managed to roll my truck and trailer, with the jeep strapped to it, on the freeway while traveling back from the Black Hills Run.

I would like to thank everyone that sponsored events that I was able to attend in person, or vicariously through your photo and video reports. I am looking forward to many more events in the future.

I also want to thank all of you on this forum that helped and encouraged me to put Grampa's Jeep back together after our crash. I couldn't and woudn't have put GJ back on the trail without your helping me to know how to do it and that it was possible to do it.

Anyway, here it is. Grampa's Jeep's Greatest Hits 2017

Gr8 Job Stan! Like I said on YouTube, Grandpa's Jeep rocked 2017, and the video doesn't even feature the awesome recovery from the I-80 obstacle. I'm already getting anxious for EJS. Registration is coming soon!

Loved it. Good instructional. Thanks. Would note that in my youth I had a 47 2A that three of us were driving to a camp site in Southern Illinois. Friend was driving and lost it on a tight turn gravel road. Flipped upside down. The windshield was up and it went "cr... runch" and the three of us got out without a scratch. Flipped it right side and went on. You might want to think about running some of these trails with the windshield up.

I love seeing 40s technology still tearing up the terrain.  The original designers, builders, and engineers would be proud.

I love seeing 40's technology doing the same stuff 50,000 dollar rigs do and doing it better and looking a ka-zillion times cooler doing it. Great video compilation Stan.

This is might come off as negative but, it's not meant to be....I'm saying it with a huge smile on my face...you sure beat the he%% outta grandpa's jeep....... and I love it because you love it and you love that JEEP.

If you were doing this to your JEEP and were then just gonna throw it away when you were done, it would be a different story. But it's not like that so, it's completely awesome. Keep it up.
