The end of the arm has a flat area where the clip fits.  As best I can tell, it's pressed on.  When replacing the rivet care is needed to ensure it's loose vs. snug.  The blade needs to have the room to flip/flop when wiping.  Photos Added.

The multi-colored short arm is the only one I have that is complete (with handle- notice rivet attachment about 1/3 up that handle, not sure what it's for unless different vehicle perhaps).  The black short arm is in much better shape but didn't come with a handle.

When I measure the lengths for arms (end of arm to shaft):
Short - 6 1/2"
Long - 8 3/8"

What Joe posted would be real handy to have in larger format to see more detail.

All the photos and drawings in my posts are reduced due to memory limitations on the websites. I typically crop them and shrink them to 20% of their original size.

The original files are huge. When the CJ3B page was in it's humble beginnings, I spent 2-3 evenings a week researching specific traits of flatfenders. Then the other Jeep sites starting pirating the data without seeking permission from Derek, so I found better ways to spend my time.

I'm exploring options Embarrassed  I would never ask Muley to send along what he has unless I had made sure this was workable.  That said, modifying originals does tend to defeat the purpose of searching them out LOL, but one doesn't know unless they ask- (and my buddy is hardcore anti repop, any mods would have to fool him Wink )

That said, all this 3B talk has me pondering if I have a 3B windshield in the loft and what if anything may be on it.  I'm so focused on staying in my 2A lane the ancillary stuff I pick up along the way tends to blur into the background... I need to check on that tonight.  If I can come up with a 3B setup I'd be thrilled to swap for what I'm looking for.  If I can't, Muley, I'd be happy to make it worth your while  to get yours to Rus to facilitate it that way if everyone was amenable.

Let me look further tonight and report back and see what might be done... the info is much appreciated Thumbs Up

  The extra hole in that handle is probably for a connection to a rod that connects to the other side wiper on vehicles with manual wipers on both sides. As in MB/GPW.

I carefully pried open the original Trico metal wiper blade housing and removed the remnants of the old rubber wiper material and replaced it with the rubber from a similar style Anco blade. Upon reinstalling the manual wiper in the windshield it seems very sloppy. Should there be a bushing in the windshield hole or something else like a wavy washer to take up the slop in the shaft of the manual wiper?

 I have the same issue, I think we should be able to come up with a nylon or brass bushing to take up the slop. I just have not gotten around to looking yet. McMaster Carr would be a good place to start.
