Kind of random, but does anybody know what happened to his POW jeep? I know he sold it when he got sick but wondered if someone here got it or knows who did?

Well I can speak for part of it....the engine I'm running in 'Southpaw' is an engine I bought from him "out of a running M38" that he was restoring at the time.
I kept it in storage all this time till I bought the engineless Lefty. |

His memory lives on....the engine I'm running in 'Southpaw' I bought from him years ago.
"Came out of a running M38".....I bought it, brought it home, put it in a corner of the garage. Years later when Southpaw became available it was engine less and I was in the midst of moving to my 'retirement project'. The easiest way to move everything to the new/old house was of course to install the engine (not neccesarily trying to get it running just moving it) Fired right right up and has been running ever since. Scout pilot went through the carb for me after it was at its new home. |
