I hope everyone has a great Holiday and you all eat way to much. Be careful though you still need to fit behind the wheel of you Willys. Safe travels

We go to the kids place for Thanksgiving (easier then dragging the grand kids over here) The son inlaw is a fine chef and does a great meal. The wife will do a couple side dishes and of course no one does pies better then grandma.
BUT this year Grandpa is getting SECOND thanksgiving. Since we normally get very few left overs this year we are doing a complete second dinner on Friday. I'll do one of the small birds I get from work for christmas (been hiding in the freezer all year) on the Traeger Pellet grill I split the 12lb bird down the middle and rub it down with olive oil and spices. Then an hour of apple smoke followed by 2.5 hours at 350 degrees and it comes out WONDERFUL. The wife and my son will do 4-5 sides (he's interested in left overs to take home) and we can eat our selves into a coma. |

Have a good Thanksgiving yourself. Years ago we would head out towards Moab and cook birds there or I would head over to my brothers house for lasagna or whatever was being served. I think I am just going to stay home this year and eat some Pizza and read.

Happy Thanksgiving Mike and everyone else! Some of us moved our drivers seat back 3 or so inches, so we don't need to worry as much about the steering wheel! |

Happy Thanksgiving day To all you Jeepers. It's a great time to give thanks for all those things and people that we take so much for granted. Enjoy that great dinner tomorrow.

I expect to treat myself to the traditional Thanksgiving peanut butter and jelly sandwich with all the trimmings. What can I say--I'm kinda lazy! Have a great Thanksgiving, everybody!

Actually, I don't care much for turkey. It usually is over cooked and dried out.
Now then, a properly smoked side of Salmon and a beer would work for me. |

Happy Thanksgiving to All. We have much to be Thankful for this year. We received 2 Grandsons this year. I myself just returned home from having a endocarterectomy to remove plaque from my carotid artery Yesterday. Gotta neck on me like a Bullfrog.Might slow down the feeding frenzy! Hopefully all will have a Great Day and enjoy. Thanks, Kev

Kev - was wondering how the procedure went. Glad it went well. A big one to add to the "I'm thankful for..." list.
