Getting ready to re-install my original body tub, after cleaning up the frame. I searched previous tech questions and could not find an answer. My question is, do I mount the rubber pads on the frame first -perhaps use double side tape or small bit of glue - to old them in place when I put the Tub on frame?
Or put the tub on and use a jack to slip rubber pads in proper locations? Sounds like dumb question-want to do what works best. I appreciate the help. RS.

I used some gasket tack cement on the frame.

I like to initially put about 1/2” thick rubber pads down between frame and tub.
2 up at the #1 body mount locations) on frame under the “A” pillars. And 2 more 1/2” pads back on the corners of tub at the #6 location. Check for clearances then when satisfied drop body down onto proper thickness rubber pads. 1/8” thick. You can easily lift tub with one hand to maneuver the rubber pads.
