installing oil filter canister and lines

i believe the following picture shows the correct block fitting for the oil intake to the filter, let me know if wrong, it's 7 or so inches back from front of block on driver side, the light is shining on it, i will need an elbow, what size it it and is it something that is available at napa or do i need to order on line?

The "correct" location for the oil line to the filter is actually further forward and behind the fuel filter pumpEmbarrassed ...

It's the elbow below and left of the fuel pump opening in this pic.

There should not be a zerk in the engine block anywhere.

yep, the zerk is in the correct hole, does napa have the correct elbow? looks like it maybe #384569, i bought the lines from ron fitzpatrick, a short and long,

Yes!, should be a brass 1/8" NPT x 1/4" inverted flair elbow, but bring your hose with to Napa to verify the hose end!.

I agree! but a 1/8" NPT grease zero makes an excellent pipe plug when you do not have a pipe plug, I've done it many times over the years

Really,  A zerk as a Oil pipe plug? sounds highly questionable to me.
