Hi,
Lew Ladwig here.  A few years back I started the Colorado Flat Fender Club ( CFFC ) and hooked up with fellow jeep fans from around the area.  The club has grown to an email list of nearly 65 folks.  We have held some really fun events and I have made many great friends.  In seeing several other clubs from across the country I decided it was time to form the IFFC- the International Flat Fender Club!  I would like to have other clubs join us as Patrols.  Each patrol would be independant and can do their own thing but could post their events and such with the IFFC and maybe we could even have a big annual event where we get a big turnout from all the patrols.  Currently the CFFC has had folks from four different states show up with some travelling from way east of the Mississippi!

Please let me know what you think.  I figure this will be the starting year so if your club would like to be a founding patrol of the IFFC please drop me a note.  I am also looking for a web site person who can set us up with a site so folks surfing the net can find us.

This club would be a no fee, no dues, no cost deal.  I just want to use the net as a common meeting place and a way for all the patrols to hook up with each other and plan some great events.  BTW, you are all welcome to join the CFFC in the Fall Colors tour!  Last years event was great.

Maybe we will hold the first International convention of the IFFC some where here in the Rockies.  Would that be cool to have a few hundred old Willys driving over Rollins Pass during the summer!

Please give me some feed back.

Happy jeeping!

Hey Lew.  Sounds interesting.  I'd like to get a San Diego Area Flat Fender Club going (then we could join the IFFC Smile).

If there's already something set up in the San Diego area that someone is aware of, please let me know.  I'm having a disconnect with the local clubs that are 98% YJ, TJ, JK, etc.  I'm finding that I prefer to be discussing and trail riding with fellow flat fender owners.

Sound like we have a strong interest in the IFFC!  I'll work on getting this set up.  Please stay in touch and spread the word.

We could use some good art work of a flatty to use in a logo.  I would like to get a format made that is digital so it can go on web sites and business cards.

I am also looking for a way to set up a website like this one.  I am not a computer guy so I would need help with that.

Thanks,
Lew Ladwig

Vamshi,
That would be great!  Consider yourself the president of the India patrol of the IFFC!
Please post pictures of your jeeps and events!   If you ever make it to the U.S. please let me know so we can plan an event for you.  I am sure there is great interest in your activities from all the club members.
I will add you to the email list!
Thanks,
Lew Ladwig

Glad to see the interest.
We are making slow progress but do have progress.

I need to work out the web site issues.

Keep tabs on this page as I will announce the final set up here.

Hey Laserman,

NO! there is no patrol of the IFFC in California!  Sounds like you and your boss should be the first to start the patrol and get it going.  How about the CaFFC?

I would bet your patrol would grow very fast and you guys would have a blast!

Makes me hungary for chicken.
Get your resto's going and you club at the same time.
I know there are many flatty owners there but none of them have set up a club.
Keep me posted.

MSFFC sounds good. We have 4 or 5 flat fender owners in Mississippi here on the forum. SO, I guess you can go ahead and put me down if you want. I think I am going to try and work us up a logo then see if any of the other Mississippi guys want a cap or something. LOL

Thumbs Up
