I just vacuumed out the floor of my CJ2A and found this.  I have owned the vehicle for 12 years and just noticed this stamped "Jeep" logo.  Never saw it on another Jeep, never saw it online anywhere.  Of course, I wasn't looking for it because I didn't know it existed.  You can only see it from a very specific angle.  Am I the only one who has never seen this before?

Little surprises like this are what keep me hooked in this hobby.   Of course, dementia really helps keep 'em coming!

Anytime I have scrapped a Jeep body, if that panel is in good shape I salvage it. Always someone out there wanting it.
If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!

It marks the first piece that rusts.  Replacement panels need to be doctored.

It was a couple of years before I discovered the script on my jeep so don't feel bad. One of my jeeps had this riveted onto the windshield frame and it was always a curiosity to what it was until I made the same discovery as you did.

I didn't discover mine this way, but towards the end of this little video my GoPro goes flying and spins down into the foot well for a quick flash of that Jeep script. Slow motion of the flying camera starts at 2:30.
