The sun did not come out today when the 2a came out. Sorry, I wanted to see the new build in the sun, but at least its out in daylight. I think I'm calling it TANK in honor of my Dad who was a tank commander and the color. What do you think??

I have some 2nd Armor Division bling going on later. First I have to work out some tranny/ TC bugs.

Nice job,you have a rugged looking jeep, very nicely done. You didn't have to use ramps to load your jeep on the trailer?

OK, the sun came out this morning, so here is that 2015 Jeep Tank green in the morning sun. I love the color and thinking I'm painting the Scrambler the same color, but maybe two stage. Oh and the M-416

Maybe I missed it in your build, but the steering wheel looks interesting- what is it out of? Is it attached to the stock column?

Stock column and the spines on the wheel is the same. Came out of a tractor and I have the part number somewhere. The column was shortened a bit and a bronze bushing ordered from Advanced adapters. The box end had the worm cut off and a piece of double D added. Then it was double D shaft to the Saginaw box with double cardin joints. The column was also pushed up into the bottom of the dash, but I had to modify the stock brackets. Steering was a pain in the beginning. Now the only problem is, going from a metric GM pump to a SAE J-10 box. Return is no big deal, but the power side is a PIA right now.

I had a custom exhaust put in last week and finished most of the wiring today, then.............................I fired the motor for the first time. Sounds great, but only ran for a few seconds, no coolant in it yet. I still have to fab up a neck for the thermostat housing. Hopefully, tomorrow, if we can get out of the rainy season we're in here, I can get that done and let her run and get her off the trailer. Just thought I would share.

Rick, not soon enough brother. Trust me, besides the little hill and ledge here on my property, I am biting at that bit right now.
