I recently installed the dual master kit. Below is a step by step of how it went for me. Below that is another video on how to remove the residual valve. If you run 4wheel disc brakes you will want to watch that one first. If you’re running drum in the rear you can skip that part. I’ve been driving with this setup about a month now. It’s working great!

If you pull the residual pressure valve from the master cylinder are you using remote valves? As far as I know you should have a 2lb valve on discs and a 10lb on Drums. And you should have an adjustable Proportioning valve to balance front to rear so you don't get the rears skidding when the fronts are doing 60% of the braking. |

I’ve run 4 wheel disc on all my rigs with no residual valves with zero issues. Many others have as well. While I realize it’s “by the book” to have 2lb valves on disc. You 100% do not have to have them. I’ve Put a ton of miles on my rigs with no valves. And it goes the same for the proportioning valve. I’ve run with and with out and in my opinion it’s personal preference. |

Hi brother,
Quick question on this setup. I'm also running all disc brakes and don't have proportioning valve which is fine but I'm not running dual master cylinder, only running stock MC, does stock MC have residual valve b/c it only got one port and then Y fitting? Thanks

Single flare on brake fittings? & saying that you can use compression fittings on brakes? Seriously? Not with my family on board. These things are not the safest rigs to start with. |

Curious how the pushrod lined up in the horizontal plane.
Nicely done instructional videos. Easy to follow and understand. Thanks.

You can save a few buck and buy the kit direct from Herm.
