My son ordered these; no link but search by key words on ebay. any CJ before 1976 used the same width spring as the flatties. you need one front axle set to get the wider hole spacing for the front diff ubolt.

I just ordered the front and back skid plate sliders and plan to put them to the test. Thanks for bringing them to our attention 3A Steve.

I guess we don’t care that these are set up for “double shocks?”
I suppose you can just cut off the one you don’t need.

Yes, cut one of them off. just make sure it's on the opposite side as the orig shock mount. LOL

Or just leave it on there......its outta harm's way. Maybe make a tie down point out of it for trailering.

Did you get the rear and front set? I got mine and have looked at both the double shock "front" and the single shock "rear". They look the same to me ... of course other than the fact that the "front" set has shaft for two shocks. Thinking I could have ordered two rear sets. Also been wondering if I could use the spare shaft to hook my tie down to instead of wrapping  it around the spring and axle.

Look closely at the front axle set, you will notice the bolt hole spread is larger for the inside holes. that ubolt has a larger diameter to fit over the casting of the differential. ONLY ON THE R/H Side and only on the front axle.

Thanks. My 3A is sitting in a frozen lot next to 4 or 5 911 Porches  (my mechanic only works on my Willys out of interest in the odd ride) waiting to have some trans work done. Can't wait to get it back (and in my warm garage)  to look at things. Your pic looks clear. Next question is, I bought an e-brake shield. Also can't wait to get my 3A back to try to figure out how it connects to anything. Figure at $14 I can afford to throw it away if I can't figure out how to attach it.
