 This is a pic of my frame off complete restore 47 that I stopped working on this fall to build the mock M38 for my son. I named it Midnight. The wheels will be painted about the color of the yellow on the lic plate. The paint is Tractor Supply Vaspar Ford blue and Black mixed. JIM |

This is the cheapest paint job on here....the tub I believe was that luzon red, aged since 1947, the windshield frame is wire brushed and then 3 coats brushed and spray rustoleum red, fenders are as they came on the jeep (OD green with patches), hood is original 1947 luzon aged to a rusty red, grill shell as it came on the Jeep....I am the resident patina hound....love aged sheetmetal...If I had to patch it then I had to cover it with paint...if not...mother nature was in charge...
