  This is a pic of my frame off complete restore 47 that I stopped working on this fall to build the mock M38 for my son. I named it Midnight.  The wheels will be painted about the color of the yellow on the lic plate.  The paint is  Tractor Supply Vaspar Ford blue and Black mixed.

OK, I think the photo will show up now.

The interior is painted flat black, exterior high gloss black, beige line along side

Nate, that is a great photo! If you have a super high res version of that, it would make a fine addition to bill Norris' calendar!

Great photo, love the low profile looking up. Any chsnce that is HDR?

This is the cheapest paint job on here....the tub I believe was that luzon red, aged since 1947, the windshield frame is wire brushed and then 3 coats brushed and spray rustoleum red, fenders are as they came on the jeep (OD green with patches), hood is original 1947 luzon aged to a rusty red, grill shell as it came on the Jeep....I am the resident patina hound....love aged sheetmetal...If I had to patch it then I had to cover it with paint...if not...mother nature was in charge...
Oh yeah...I call him "the PILE"....

I guess my avatar says it all.  Cheapest paint I could find.  US Army Desert Tan with semi gloss WW2 Olive Drab.
