Please post pics and specs on your non original, lifted or otherwise modified flatty.

Heres mine:

Stock motor and drivetrain. Saginaw steering swap. Unknown lift springs and shackles. Proc comp 33's

Soon to have updated axles and hybrid (D18 gears and a d20 centered case) and a t90c swap.
Going back to 5.38's (has 4.27's now) and front discs via Herms master cylinder kit

I speak that language as well!  1946 2A, 4.3 Vortec, SM465, Dana 300, Scout Dana 44's w/ 5.38 gears, full floater and spool in back, OX Locker in front, chromoly shafts.  Jeep XJ rear springs front (reversed) and back, 36" TSL SX's w/ beadlocks.  WAY too much more.  Play around in Moab and CO as often as possible.  Currently restoring a '45 and early '46 so I truly appreciate both sides.  Can't wait to see more posts!

Here's my ex bucket of bolts, now a precision built machine! I *think* it is a '46 2A (though not much left LOL). Now it has a 225 V6, T18 with 6.32:1 1st, D18, D25, D41 (to give a 84:1 crawl ratio), 11" brakes, power steering, Warn 8274 winch, and home built frame with Jeep TJ Rubicon coil springs on 31 x 10.5 BFG Mud Terrians. Body is a repro M38 from the '70s.

Very shortly though, it will have a freshly rebuilt 225, painted chevy orange, with Offenhauser 4bbl intake, Comp Cams 252H cam, Holley TA470 carb, Offenhauser aluminum valve covers (gotta have the bling!Big smile), Cloyes double roller timing chain, and HEI. All the good stuff to make gear heads drool.

Like the others, I do appreciate both sides of the spectrum. I have just as much fun driving my restored 3A as I do this crazy thing. Thumbs Up Both are unique in their own ways!

I love this thread! I'm building my 2A to be stock, but I appreciate hardcore crawling rigs as well!  It's great to see both sides of these old Jeeps.

Well, we all know you can't have just one!  I bought four at once from a guy and turned the most destroyed one into the wheeler.  Using the remaining to help restore the others.  Here are a couple more pics playing on the Rubicon last year.  Such a blast and a must do for ANY Jeeper.  I'd love to go back with a stock 2A someday, may just not take the same lines though...

1948 willys, family bought in 1962,  literally thousands of memories,  I inhereted it out of four boys, because they felt I would be the only sentimental brother that would fix it up and pass it on.  I rebuilt, with upgrades,  every nut and bolt (grade 8 of course) back to original, including wiring harness and 6 volt.  then slight variations and updating, being 2 1/2 superlift front and rear, 32x11.50 on Micky Thompson originals 8x15.  High steer conversion. Rust conversion to steel in more than half of jeep.

Working on a tilt front clip,  baja jp seats,  wood and slat rear floor, and the list goes on.  Year three !!!  I need life to slow down so I can finish this jeep project this winter.......

I'd love to see more pix of this one.  Are there more posted somewhere?
