For those of you with a stock L134 and larger tires (32's or bigger) how is the gearing? Both offroad and onroad?
Mine has 4.27's swapped in by a previous owner and its terrible. I will be going back to 5.38's shortly. |

I'm running only 31/10.50 Doesn't do too bad, But I think If I go up too 33's or just even 32's I would go with a skinner tire like 9.50 width. That is my plan at least. That will make it nice for in the mud/snow. |

Disclaimer: No restorable Willys were harmed in the making of this creation. Still in progress, hopefully by next fall I'll be done.

I Love the little L heads, if you can go beat up on way more powerful rock rigs, more power to you!!!!
If you need more power, maybe switch to an F head.... LOL Cool rig none the less, post some more pics as you progress. Maybe specs too |

That's funny right there. Nice lookin' rig. I like the choice of power plant too. Won't get you there fastest but will certainly get you there.

Very nice, that is exactly what I am talking about. How is the onroad gearing with the 33's and 5.38's? Do you wheel it much? Very nice rig! |
