First of all I introduce myself, I'm Gonzalo I write from Uruguay (South America) I own a willys cj2a 1948 and a willys cj3b 1953.
I'm about to buy a locker for my dana 41. I'm in doubt if it only serves the LR2416 or if it's the same as the LR2415. I checked with the factory and they told me that the two kits are the same but I'm not sure that this is really the case.

Hi Gonzalo,
Welcome to the forums. I put an LR 2415 in my stock Dana 41 rear end this spring and it works just fine. Rick R

Welcome to the forum! Someone here has said that the two kits are the same. I'm sure someone will confirm that. I can't confirm it, but I have read it.

The only difference between the lr2416 and the lr2415 is the sticker on the box. I went through the same questioning process that you are before I installed my locker. The make a huge difference.

Thank you very much for the information, I do not understand why they use different code, I hope in the next few months to install a locker in my dana 41. As I learn to upload a picture of my willys, I upload it.

My neighbor had one in his CJ 7 and as it annoyed him so much we put in an Elocker front and rear. I did two more Jeeps after that.
