Not sure who makes them, but I’ve been beating on these wheels from Walcks for a few tears now. No complaints.

Example:

Tire on the left is 2 years old. Not sure how many miles but less than 30k. Probably closer to 20k. The tire on the right is new. An inch difference in diameter.   Perhaps the cuts in the left tire caused it to wear faster but I don’t think so. The set I had before those wore out just as quick.   Could it be that they are softer? Like stickies?

Must just be the picture but those tires look several inches different in height. Is the new tire a Coker or STA?

They are both firestone STAs. It is an inch with a tape measure but of course the older tire has weight on it

Edit: you can see the difference in the depth of the lugs.

I have run the new BFG KM3 750/16 tire all this past season. I loved the on road manners and noise level. The off road traction was very impressive in all areas we in New England encounter. Including mud granite rock , shale and even sand. I was surprised more about the sand traction of all. These were put on my 53 CJ3b with stock springs and 538 gears. No rub on the front springs or rear wheelwells rub. I'd buy these again in a heat beat. Lived them. I think they are a great choice for a stock or modified flat fender and this is coming from someone who has run 35/1250-15's on a flattie. Big smile

Back in the 80's I ran a full set of qty 5 of the 6.00 x 16 Denman NDT's.
I got just over 30K road miles on them.

Stan: They are Omix-ADA rims. I am running a set now and it is really the only thing Omix that I haven't had problems with or had to modify to make it work.

Right, Bruce?

Ever heard of a Nubian tape or a tree tape?

Tire guys use them to measure the circumference of the tire, but the tape reads out in inches of diameter.
