After spending an unknown number of years in Colorado Springs, Lieutenant Little finds his way home among brothers.

Gently rolling the old comrade off the trailer

Capt Easy was quick to offer his help to his fellow brother and give him a GENTLE pull over to the shop. I let them sit for a few min reuniting.

After Easy gives the old comrade a pull to the garage I begin to clean him up a bit. While doing so the Capt and Lt exchange war stories.

Maybe we should move the FCT to Joshua's house. That way nobody would have to bring a jeep

LOL I don't think she will be going anywhere, like you said she knows I got the bug and besides, this last February she went to NM with me to buy Easy and I really surprised her by proposing on the way home. We will be getting married next year after training in the Army is somewhat over Smile

Thanks Guys!!

Well the Lt is a 3-10-42 Script GPW Serial number 5204, Has the willys frame but I am REALLY hoping its got the gpw serial number on it. Has 3 Combat wheels, lots of F stamped parts. The motor is a overhead 4 banger ( thats why the oil pan on the hood LOL ) I don't know the history on the jeep other than its been in Colorado for over 60 years.

I just got the jeep home yesterday around 10 pm so started cleaning it up a little today. The tranny had about a gallon of water in it Cry but it doesn't seem to be rusted to to bad so I think it will clean up nicely.

I am not sure on my plans for it right now. I am thinking of pulling the motor and putting a rebuilt flat head I got sitting in the shop in it, but I'm thinking I may just need to look the other way and sell it since I am going in the army soon. I will keep doing little things to it until I decide for sure what I want to do ( or should do is more like it cuz I WANT to keep it LOL )

It's civilian    What about your other G503s? Is the flange 1-1/2" or 2" wide.

None of my g503s have original bumpers unfortunately besides the one I restored. But Hey I just found the serial number on the frame and it's the same as the data plate Big smile so I was excited to see that
