M38 distributor cap and rotor

Just wondering if the center contact in the M38 distributor cap is supposed to be spring loaded, like a CJ2A cap, Also is the PT# for the rotor cap in my M38 7348578 that's the # on my rotor, but the brass contact is almost squared off on the end of it where it spins close to the 4 contacts on the distributor cap. Just want to make sure I have the right one.Thanks again
