Do any vendors offer 4.88 gears for a 25 front end?  I`ve seen them listed as "coming soon", but Walks isn`t offering them.

What about used ones, or do you have to have new ones? Weren't all the military axles geared 4.88?

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure about it.

Fred, Beachwood Canvas shows them in their catalog but that doesn't mean they have them I'm sure. I'd check with the military guys, I'm sure they could point you at the cheapest place.

Fred,

I just disassembled a D25 Saturday with the good 4:88 gears. I've got the carrier sold to another Gent on here, but I have the complete ring and pinion with the pinion bearing available.

Hows $25 plus shipping sound. $8.10 for Priority Mail Flat Rate

Send me an email: 48cj2a@sbcglobal.net
