Hello Everybody!
I just wanted to introduce myself. I recently purchased this 146 BT3C, serial number 13227. It has spent most of it's life on a farm outside of Richmond. I'm getting ready to start stripping it down this weekend so I'll post more pics of the progress. I don't have a flatfender yet, but I hope to one day. Right now, this little guy will be towed by our cousin from across the pond, my 1965 Land Rover Series IIA 88 that I am also restoring. |

Sean,
Thanks for posting. I know you'll enjoy the rebuild process.
I'm curious about your trailer's history. You post it is a 1946. Do you have any history as to why it is a '46 vs. a '47?
The reason I ask is your trailer hasn't been added to the list (a new trailer!) and it's serial number falls within a group of trailers all listed as 1947. My trailer, 12131, was adjacent to the '47's and I was unclear on it's year but eventually decided on '47.
I'm sure Art will want to add your number to the list!

Hey Rus!
Thanks for the welcome! The title says 1946, but it could be a 1947. I've seen older DMV titles being wrong before. The title that I got was from 1969, so there is no telling how they decided what year it was back then. And I took a lot more pictures this weekend and I'll send that to Art right away. |

Just wanted to post an update of the slow restoration. But thongs are picking up. I got the tub removed last weekend and hopefully will have the rest taken apart by next week. The it's off to the sandblaster, then back home to repair! Sean
