Hi Folks,

I have posted a lot of questions on the forum, but I don't think I've ever posted any pictures of my Jeep! I bought it my junior year of high school and spent about 4.5 years "restoring" it with my dad. Restoring is in quotations because we only fixed what needed fixing, although now I wish we had done a complete restoration. We rebuilt the transmission and transfer case, put a new clutch in, fixed the brakes, had the starter rebuilt, put all new electrical in, did a lot of body work, etc. I have always wanted a WWII Jeep and this is as close as I can get for now. Someday I'll get an MB! Its a lot of fun to drive when its working and always gets a lot of thumbs ups!

Thanks for looking!

Ryan

btw, I bought my first CJ in honor of my Dad, a couple of days after he passed away this past December. He was 17th Airborne, 513th PIR, Battle of the Bulge vet, and subsequently a POW, captured by Panzer Grenadiers, at Flamierge, Belgium in January 1945. Marched through Belgium, down through Prum Germany, loaded on freight cars, mistakenly strafed by Allied forces, unloaded, then marched up to Stalag XIIA in Limburg, Germany, where he was subsequently liberated by 3rd Army forces April '45. Interesting stories abound. We did his military honors  yesterday in northern NJ. These were interesting, talented, and dedicated men, and women! Flew old glory on my CJ Memorial day in their honor.

Keep up the great work, and show it off to a Vet often!

Cheers!

WKWilly
