Thought Id post of my 51 ben hur,its not the best shape but its back on the road and is usable again. The worst part of the whole project was getting the 6 coats of old paint off and fixing the little bit of rot in the back,Wish I took befor pics . Are you sure that's a Ben Hur?? It looks more like a Davis Bradley ??
The Ben Hur trailer is a 1/2 ton trailer as opposed to a 1/4 ton like the BT3-C, MBT, & BT3. Davis Bradley (thru Sears) sold another 1/4 ton as well as Spen. Nice looking restoration anywho! Edit...I stand corrected by myself I did a little google search & found the answer to my own question!
