I now have all of my parts for restoring my knuckle wipes.
Let the comments now begin about how I laid everything out to get a picture and how it looks like an Indian blanket pattern or what have you.

They do kinda look like those Space Invaders we used to blast on the Atari back in the 80's.

Could be just as rare! It took me a while to find the spring inserts.

Rear end is no longer supported by jack stands!!! Waiting on some lock washers for the front and will be able to take the front off of the jack stands too. Bell crank parts should be here tomorrow and I will have the steering all hooked up. I can't wait to roll it outside, what a major milestone that will be. |

Dave,
She looks real good! As does your sweet shop! What did you paint that floor with? It looks real nice from what can be seen! |

Kilroy,
Thanks for the comments. As far as the garage floor.....Well,I have to be honest here. I think this is a case of how pictures can be deceiving on the computer. My floor is your basic sealed concrete garage floor. Nothing special about it. I do plan to epoxy coat it sometime this summer. My shop, if you will, is my "half" of the two car garage and man is it ever tight with the Jeep in there. As you can see I don't have a lot of waisted space. My ceilings are 11' and I am taking advantage of that space too! I will be rolling the Jeep outside as soon as I can and getting some good pics to post. Of course outside in the sun will show every little mistake or blemish I have made.

Well after a little more then 2 1/2 years since I rolled it into the garage the Jeep was finally able to roll outside today!!!!! I have waited for this milestone for some time. I blew the dust off of it that has accumulated in the garage. Several little touch up spots to do with paint but all in all I am very pleased. Next thing is to get the motor rebuilt and the radiator checked. I need to either redo my shocks or get some new ones. A couple of pics outside. Edited by Night0wl - 02 May 2011 at 9:41pm |

Almost forgot! No master cylinder in just yet so this thing is heavier then it looks when you have a sloped driveway.

Dave,
Great job! I know how good it feels to finally get the chassis rolling again.
I still just sit and look at mine sometimes. (uh, well uh thats all I can do right now)
You know what I mean.
You've accomplished a great deal.
Now get that body work finished!
