I just found a picture of the cj2a I had built when I was in my early 20s. I had used bucket seats from a 75  Toyota Corolla ,made a push bar on front bumper, reinforcements on each side of windshield, also I had transfered the  louvres from the hood of the Toyota to the hood of the Jeep.It was almost as in a rough shape as the one I just finished. But in my early 20s with no  Internet for help I did the best I could. I would use it for hunting, off road, haul my fire wood with a trailer,in the winter I had a old canvas from a cj5 that I fitted on so I could plow my driveway in the winter. What I remember that jeep was tough. That was about 35 years ago but it seem as yesterday .

Good story Gil, had a feeling you weren't a total Rookie on your last build. I hear Ya on the time flying too. Thanks Joe

Here is a other picture of the cj2a I built in the early 80s.
Here are pictures of a cj2a that I had before the one I build in the early 80s. I used some parts from this one .That one was really abused when I took it out in my early 20s not a care in the world.

Gil, thanks for the pic's really brought back memories. Back in high school my father helped build a full top similar to yours (except for the over hang and the pointed doors) the pic going up the ditch reminded me of this crazy neighbor I had with a 62 ford comet, we called it the vomit with shakles on the leaf springs....Said " I'll go anywhere that jeep can go" He did remarkabley well until I brought him to a ditch like you have pictured. Thanks again Joe
