You got that right. Looking good. I am painting the underneath of my tub at the moment. You did a nice job on the repairs.

Making progress slowly, but its coming together. Got the tub done and bolted down, just got some more metal work to do on the fenders and hood. Fixed the battery tray and built a battery hold down thanks to the measurements here on the page. Got the steering shaft swapped out for a better one, now my horn button works . Also put it on life support(lawn mower tank and a charged battery) and took it for a spin around the yard.lol Ill try to get some progress pictures the weekend.

Making progress slowly, but it’s getting there. Got a new exhaust, wiring and gauges from Walck's, so the Farmall muffler got the boot and now the exhaust comes out right instead of out the pto hole. Made a passenger seat from an m38 seat as all my cj2a parts seats were rusted out. Got the starter and generator rebuilt and new bushing in the bell housing, it now cranks a little faster so I’m hoping it fixes the slow cranking problem after getting the battery charged up again. Found something cool while cleaning the hood, it’s got the marked out F on the hinge.

I'm sure glad you can easily have a cold one while working on your jeep! Love your red opener. I have one on my MB at the top of my LR wheel opening. That way I can swing a full quart without chipping paint------- John

A cold one is a must . It was the P.O's idea though, he had it fixed there for when he took his kids camping. I would have liked it in a better place though,if you aren't careful the bottle hits the tail light. I got lazy though and didn't feel like welding anymore holes to move it.

I have the same bottle opener, and planned to mount it to the dash. I think I like your idea better. This Willys is for my wife. I'll try to sell her on your placement.
By the way, nice work on your project. It looks terrific. Tim

Did a little much needed engine tune up while the fenders are off, cleaned the pcv system, put the new heat riser spring on and checked its operation, and adjusted the valves. Almost got all the wireing done, just need a flasher for the signals. Waiting on FLAPS to get my valve cover gasket and the front end can start going back together .

Thanks! I'v gotten alot more done on it this summer than I thought I would.I wish it was done for the Blue Ridge Parkway ride, but the whole brake system needs a rebuild before I take it on the road and I really should try to slow down that transfer case leak.
