I have made a new list...hope to post it tomorrow....
the numbers are essentially still the same...just some empty spaces deleted in the old number and some prefixes added to make them more digital database friendly for search...
as an example...
the engine gasket full set used to be: FS 1023 KJ...the vendor's catalog number
it is now NGA FS1023KJ...where NGA is a NAPA Gasket prefix that all gaskets have in front of the old modifed number...for a NAPA digital catalog...
many parts are no longer listed though.... Edited by Jim Kilbourne - 05 Apr. 2007 at 10:50pm |

I work at NAPA - and we have changed from Victor gaskets to Fel-Pro. While I am not happy about this change, most of the gaskets will cross reference. The books are not outdated, it is that the old book are no longer available, so you need a store with old books! (and a good counter person like me to look them up for you) - You guys would be impressed with what is available, if you know where to look - Tanya

I think Napa may have reconfigured their site. I no longer see any capability for searching by part numbers. I can only find the keyword search.

I have a NAPA warehouse nearby, and they have all of the paper catalogs. Go to the website and see where the nearest warehouse is. The people there are knowledgeable.

Can anyone here provide me with all the NAPA numbers for a complete brake redo? I have three CJ2a's and a willy's PU each requiring full or partial brake work From Master Cylinder on down to all the bits at each wheel.
Thanks,
Eskimo Tom

You might be better off checking one of the other Willys vendors listed on this site. Most often they come in cheaper than NAPA.

Just a note-I work for Carquest, and we carry all Victor gaskets, so that may be an option for anybody with a Victor number. Most of those Napa numbers will interchange with Carquest also. If anybody needs help, let me know.

Your best bet is to get it from one of the suppliers (Walck's, Ron Fitzpatrick, etc) there's a list on the home page of this site. If NAPA ever carried these, it was a looooong time ago.

Yeah, it wasnt on the list. Just didnt want to bother with shipping/etc for a $8.00 part. Seemed to me theese parts places would have carried something as trivial as that.
Regards.
