Couple small updates over the weekend... Picked up some leather shift boots off ebay, I'm happy with the quality and price. Also Grandpa gave me an old grease gun, I believe it was found in the Military tool bags? Also slowly preparing for an canvas top. Added the 10 common sense fasteners to the top of the windshield, the bottom two were already there. Used some Permitex on the threads for some weather proofing. Still need a bunch of footman loops for the future top. Just small stuff.

If that's a proper grease gun for a WWII jeep, it would mount under the hood in a bracket there for the purpose. If you had the bracket, you would have to drill holes in the "WILLYS" logo on the hood side in order to mount it there.

Are there any existing holes somewhere under the hood you could use? Like maybe the ones for the horn on the driver's side fender, you could make a plate that you could attach the bracket above to and have the grease gun under the hood, just not exactly like an MB.

I really like the color of your jeep. Is that original Normandy Blue paint? And sunset red wheels?

Thank you! No, it is not original Normandy Blue, I wish!! A PO did a fine job with a paint brush and some Rust-Oleum I do believe several of my wheels are original Harvard Red as the original color I believe is 1948 Potomac Gray.
