Hi All, Recently picked up a 1947 (i believe) T3C #23674. Purchased it here in Kansas City, MO from a guy who recently moved from PA. From what I'm told, it was pretty rusty so he sandblasted and repainted it. He owned it for 7-10 years and was the second owner. The tailgate needs a little love but it pulls very well. I don't have the original name plate, lights or reflectors, (and possibly wheels?) but everything else seems to be fairly as it should. I also sent some photos to Art who believe the wheels may also not be original. Once I get it into the shape I'm happy with, I plan to use it as an adventure trailer for camping trips and over landing. Hope to learn more about the awesome trailers! That looks like a great trailer, welcome
So hard to see with the white paint and the shadow lines, but that first pic looks like a cj5 wheel, fwiw MB

Chris contacted me a few days ago and I invited him here I have all his pics on the website too.
I was thinking the same thing on the wheels and suggested to look into some early CJ-5 Dog Dish hubcaps but not sure if the hubs will prevent it. There is a set on a 71 Wagoneer on the Jeep Wagoneer WIKI so thinking them just might work. |
