I think the seats differences are due to the jeep having a grooved pulley installed between the seats which can be engaged via an additional lever. From the little history I have it mentions that a generator of some kind to start aircraft was fitted where the passenger (MB) is fitted so presume that originally no seat was here and it was fitted later with this one. I will get a photo of the inside to show. Also the fuel tank and floor has been made with a specific cut out for the pulley.

Gav, you have quite a special jeep there and just another indication as to how broadly Jeeps were used and adapted for that 'use'. Enjoy it. Smile

Certainly an interesting PTO feature.  Too bad you don't have the generator that was run by the pulley; but then with the generator, you couldn't carry a passenger there, could you?  Ah, choices, choices... Smile

don’t think I have room for the vampire, though would be good to play with being ex Royal Air Force.
I am in the East Midlands Area
