Hi,

No Longer Needed, thanks for the help!

I am looking for a working MZ 4137 or MZ 4162 starter from an early CJ3A, unless I can't get the one we have working. Turns out our latest 2A has a 124 tooth flywheel gear, so we need a 9 tooth starter for it to work.  Will by outright or I also might have some stuff to trade... (mostly GPW, MB, and early 2A stuff) Please let me know if you can help.

Thank you,
Daniel

Ive got one of each, both come with the switch mounted, and both have a 9-tooth gear. I can bench-test them but I can’t load-test them. If they run on the bench I would let you have either one, your choice, for $100 plus shipping.

Well, OK, I had nothing else to do (If you believe that, I’ve got some beautiful beach-front property here I’d like to sell you. Big smile) so I brought them both from the shed and used the battery in Uncle Linden’s jeep to test them. They both run well with no load.

Hi Bruce.  Chuck Burgess here. I am looking for an MZ4137 starter. Do you still have one to sell?  Thanks
