I seem to have no options for a 7.00-16 tire but for an NDT, which I dont want.  Nothing else is available from my searching.  Anyone have options that I might not have though about?
Power Kings would be fine but I dont want 7.50-16.

OEM wheels.

On a size comparison chart a 7.00-16 would be 215/85R16 or 245/75R16 there could be other sizes too.
Lots of company's make tires in these sizes in many tread patterns.

Deestone makes a 503 and 506 in that size. There are a few options, it just takes some digging.

Right , excepting trailer tires there’s no traction tire options for 7.0O x 16” designation
Best tire  you can do is probably the STA 6.50x 16 SuperTraxion.
They run taller than most all other 6.50’s.
Other wise it’s the 7.50 x 16 bias tires.
The radial equivilents are not as tall as bias ply.
85 aspect ratio radial vs 100 aspect ratio bias.

There were a bunch of 7.00 Deestones, but they seemed to vanish.  Radials on 4.5" rims are a no go.  7.50-16 is too tall from my experience, unless your going to be driving on road all the time.  Summit has nothing for an off road tire but NDT's.  Well, there is an all season for $344 ea.  LOL

I have time, hopefully stocks will replenish.

Ouch, that would be rough.  I'm fussy, 6-8 ply is plenty.

Never had a set of those but in general knobbies are way cool for traction.
But I think maybe those tend to run small in size.
I did have a set of Michelin 6.50 xcl military’s and they were great for traction but marginal for diameter.

I'm in mud/snow country, otherwise I would be more flexible.

Is it worth the struggle for a 1 inch difference, why not just go with 6.50-16?

Coker was out of stock when I ordered my 650-16 STA Super Traxion but they shipped within two weeks when I told them to backorder them. They get new stock in all the time. The 650-16 STA Super Traxion is a good all round road and trail tire.

Bolding mine.

I am asking to gain knowledge, So be chill. Sometimes when we discuss tires folks can get intense. I am not looking for arguments, just knowledge.

Why do you say "Radials on 4.5" rims are a no go." I have seen them used together, they do bulge a bit, but they seem to work well.

Most of my 2As have come with 6.00 X 16s. AIUI, this size was either stock, or an option? They work well for around the farm. They do cut the top speed though.

For the record NDTs, IME, really suck in the snow & ice. I replace them asap. Here in the hills, we get a fair amount of snow.
