maybe we could laugh (or cry) about some of our forum members experiences regarding the passion behind CJ-2A's.

  I had one that looked like that. The guy I bought the jeep from said he just spent $XXX on the transmission then left the jeep outside with no cover on the transmission. I had to clean the dirt and corn leaves out of it to make it look like that. He also had spent a lot of money on the engine and it sat out with no hood or carburetor.

A couple years ago I bought a parts jeep for the drivetrain. This past week I've been dismantling it; luckily my trans looks good inside which was surprising considering how bad the diffs were.
