I'm going with a steel line on the bottom since that was all I can find to fit both female couplings. The mount is only cracked where the hose is held, not a huge deal but I figure it would look better

It will look great till the steel line cracks from the Jiggleing and pisses all the oil out and the engine tightens up 😬😮 The had rubber lines for reason!…..

Well if I solve the jiggle, it can hold on for a while till I can replace it with rubber

You can make your own with hose and clamp less barb fittings the parts store should have.

In my defense, it did have that random steel oil line running from the filter to the valve cover, never split and it had all kinds of loops and curves, thusly be easy bend

Ok, but don't say you weren't warned. LOL

The difference between a $20 rubber oil line or a $2,000 engine rebuild is a no-brainer to me.

Good luck!

Ok so I 50 50ed it, the have a rubber line running to the metal, and a 6 inch metal line to the filter, I couldnt get ahold of a doubled ened rubber line that fit, but the setup is pretty compact

The filter vibration is completely gone, bow it is just the same as the rest of the engine
