Mine says Military Standard on the cover and the correct NAPA filter number is 1100.  I believe the 1006 is the same filter but comes with a thinner gasket.

You may notice you are responding to an old post, but you are correct, the 1100 and the 1006 are the same. Wix make Napa filters so the number is the same just add the 5. If I remember right the last few Napa filters I bought came with 2 gaskets.
