These are two oil pumps that I had laying around. I may need one and am not sure Which is correct for my Jeep. The dark one is cast and the lighter one is not (magnet doesn't stick) Both of these are the later version.
This is from the '49 parts list
                 GROUP 10-13A --OIL PUMP (Eaton)
Pump, Oil, Assembly (use with gear driven camshaft) (use 643075)...Part No. 641046

Any additional info someone wants to share will be appretiated.

Gary, I would say either one would work as long as the motor is a gear driven cam shaft and not chain

Does anybody have pictures of an original aluminum oil pump, use on later engines?

Yes.  It is for the pin that holds the drive gear on the shaft.  The gear is replaceable.

No other holes on the shaft, up near the pump?

This one has a different shaft too.

No additional hole on the shaft.  I've only seen two of these aluminum pumps and they are the same design I've shown.  Like many other Willys parts, it's probable that they had more than one supplier, thus more than one functional design.

I didn't find a brand name on this pump, but there is a Logo.  It could be a combination of letters.  ACD?  Maybe ACOD?  Maybe AD Co? ( Co being short for company )

Just a follow up...
There appears to be a company called ADCO Manfacturing Co based in Columbus Ohio around the time of Willys Overland.

Dave,
Your pump could very well be an original version.

Like the air cleaners, Donaldson and Oaks.  They were both used.  Particularly later during 2A and 3A manufacturing.
