Any advice on removing old high beam indicator light assembly. Need to replace old wire without destroying holder?

Reverse this procedure:
It threads on the lamp holder. Maybe soak it with some good penetrate and unscrew it.

Bob,
I had to resurrect mine as well. Someone painted over it. So, I had to use pliers to get ahold of the bezel and break it free from the dash. The wiring harness was toast. I really wanted to retain the original parts rather than get a new one. If I recall correctly, the wire was soldered or riveted into a brass disk that made contact with the bulb. I had to use a very small drill bit to drill out the old wire. I then soldered in a new lead and put it all back together. It has worked fine. Micah |
